I froze 6 portions of beef stroganoff. I'd left the beef go in fresh stock (from pork and chicken bones) overnight in the instant pot on slow

Hi @Fluttershy1 I have been relaxing most of the day. While resting my back I have been reading.  So not much happening for me.

@Fluttershy1 and all

Lazy day here. Big sleep after lunch.  Probably won't sleep tonight now.

Cottage pie for dinner and backed some cakes with our little man.

Big week coming up at work. Trying to recharge in preparation.

Was hoping to sit by a fire after lunch but arranging it was too much effort 😴

Next weekend 🔥

I previously lived in canberra for a few years

Canberra custom is "No heaters before Anzac day"

And I kept that tradition

Hey, joining in a bit late today. I went out most of yesterday, so I felt pretty tired today and didn’t do much. I did manage to repot a spider plant cutting I got gifted a while ago into its new pot, and since I also got some more soil the other day, I finally had the energy to give a few of my older plants a quick top-soil refresh as well. I’m curious to see if it makes much of a difference, I guess I won’t really know for a few weeks or more. I'm watching idol at the moment. 🙂

Plenty hot enough here with out a fire.

Fire is just for fun.

Find it therapeutic

@Determined I love nothing better than sitting around a fire and just staring into it watching all the different patterns and shapes the flames make.

Really @DogMan79 Surely you would still have some cold days before ANZAC Day, especially when you were in Canberra.  Did you just put extra layers of clothes on?

@SaltwaterSoul I miss not having my own garden. But now I am at my mum's she has some garden, but now my back is too stuffed that I couldn't do any gardening even if I wanted to 🙁

@Mustang67

I don’t have much of an outdoor garden, I mainly do indoor plants. I do have a few succulents, and some bushes, but they pretty much look after themselves. I’m sorry to hear your back isn’t doing so well anymore. It’s a lovely garden though, I remember this photo along with some other beautiful ones, on another thread I follow here (our gardens) 🙂

@SaltwaterSoul I was looking on a website and came across this. They call it the Serial plant killer pot life IV drip support system. Lol

@Mustang67 Haha, wow, that looks pretty cool. How much does it cost? My plants seem to be doing well so far, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind. 😁

Re: Sunday Coffee & Chat - 29 March

@SaltwaterSoul I found it on this site Serial Plant Killer Life IV Drip Support System for $29.95. I think @tyme admitted that he does not have a green thumb. Maybe he needs some of these for any indoor plants. Lol

Depending on how fast they drip, it might be good if you are going away.
