@Shaz51
i had a bit of a full on morning. il et the dogs out while making myself a cuppa at 4:50am and all three dogs took off on me. Never happened before. Now we life in the country and have sheep farmers all around, both Zeta and Zeus are likely to cause havoc if they get in with the sheep. So i was worried. It was pitch dark. Long story short, struggling to get enough breath (got C.O.P.D) search through the wilderness around our place. Shadow cam back when called. She always does but neither Zeta nor Zeus did.
Luckily i found them where they were for one of them open the tap from our massive 110,000 litres water tank, already near full, ready for winter, no idea how they got that done. But water was running and i could hear it very faintly, so i though better check, thinking they might have broken pipes or something - it is all overgrown there right? Very happy i checked otherwise we would have lost all our water reserves.
When i found Zeus and Zeta, Zeta was happy to come. But Zeus thought it was fun and wouldn't move. He weighs more than 60 kg is as strong as an bull no way i could move him. So i just took Zeta and waited to see what he would do. He came and stood at the gate 10 minutes later missing Shadow and Zeta.
In a bit of a pickle right now. For my wife wants to sell up if we get back together for the place is becoming too much work for her and she has found different interests being gone. This means i cannot keep all three dogs and will have to put Shadow down, she is basically 11 already, and sell Zeta, and only keep Zeus for he is my best dog ever never going to get rid of him. But selling Zeta is painful too, i love her a lot and so does she, as well as Shadow.
Hard and painful decisions right now.
So yes my morning was one big stress.
