I thought it would be fun to share our pets. The top dog is Ellie and the bottom dog is Korra. Ellie is meant to be a Australian cattle dog cross and Korra is meant to be a Kelpie cross. They are 8 and 7. Please share a photo of your pets!
Yes. I do have 2 cockatiels. I most frequently take videos though. Which 1. Include my own face so can't be shown on SANE and 2. Would need to be uploaded to youtube, which would again identify me
If I have trouble with pictures saying the are too large I email them to myself in large size not actual size and that works, I can upload them then.
I hope that helps.

Re: Post Your Pets
I love seeing everyone's pets. They are all very special aren't they. @Lapis_Anteater
This is my girl Hannah, a 2yo 5.5kg Cavoodle. Also my fully accredited PTSD Assistance Dog. So for me, she's extra special. And comes everywhere with me 🐕💕
Pets are wonderful! I have a beautiful little cat I rescued a few years ago and she is the best. Animals have such a beautiful ability to take our pain and transform it for us. Cats and dogs especially will pick up on illness and come over to sit with you - sometimes that is all you need. They have no judgement like some humans, no agendas, no demands (unless we are talking food, then its all in!). If you are lucky enough to have a pet in your life, be grateful. As someone who used to talk to people all day long working for an animal charity, I can tell you first hand, what a positive difference people's pets make to them. They bring out the humanity in us, remind us that kindness and looking after someone or something else makes us stronger in ourselves. If you don't have a pet, just get around animals where you can - even the connection will make you feel better inside. Not far from me is a free council park with native Aussie wildlife - everything from possums to wallabies. Its a beautiful spot for anyone. So if you are feeling down and want to feel better, try the simple act of visiting a place where animals are and you will find it boosts your spirits. Meanwhile, Madam wants some chicken - she is giving me "that" look;P
Awwww I love this, makes me feel happy inside. My little Milly does that look when she gets a scratch under the chin, makes my heart feel like it is going to burst with happiness. Pets are the best without a doubt hey! Thanks for sharing.

I love this pic! That would make a wonderful painting
I am so glad I found SANE and these forums. I went through a terrible time many years ago after a breakup and used a forum back then which led to me starting a Facebook support page - like a safe spot for people to come to, once that site had been disbanded. I thought forums were a thing of the past now, so glad they are still around - connection is what makes us human.

Hello, I'm glad that you found this forum
I am also quite new and finding it to be really helpful 🙂
The best so far.
Have had some dodgy experiences previously. So was trepidatious.
Happy to say that I have been pleasantly surprised.
Great to share with such a welcoming and supportive group 👏

Yeah its nice to be able to connect like this - makes it easy and better than feeling isolated and alone, like so many do. Sorry you have had some dodgy experiences, but impressed you can spell "trepidatious", colour me impressed;P Simply knowing there are others out there going through similar to us makes us feel less like an alien and come to terms with the fact it is normal, we are not broken.
Good morning everyone! This fluffy boy is Luci and he will be 3 in July. Hubby and I adopted him the day after we got married so to us he is the living manifestation of our love!
We also have two ginger indoor idiots I adopted when I started dating hubby. Bell is a sweet perfect angel darling baby girl princess and Pepper uses his smooth brain to eat plastic 🤣
