Hello, back in mental health maze again

Hello, back in mental health maze again

Hi, new here

not new to mental health conditions; 1st anxiety episodes were aged 9 /10 [& was born in 1960s so its a fair while] Many many anxiety/depression episodes since then. Came here via ARCVIC [anxiety] website

Current problem has been hanging around for 18 months now; post medical trauma anxiety which started 6 mths after a sudden heart attack [rushed to hospital & life - saving operation]

Anxiety is mostly in mornings; my best move is to get up straight away [yeh, even if it's 5am] & exercise but this doesn't always work [like when you're sure it will work, it probably won't.] *its subtle

I feel I'm on the verge of having to take an extended break off work [I'm in education & cant predict what I'll be like any morning.]

regards, Schmanny

Hey @schmanxious ,

Welcome and thank you for making your first post.

Mental health is unpredictable. Not easy at all. I can see how physical health would have exacerbated your mental health.

I hope you find the support and connection you deserve.

What are things you enjoy doing?
