Hi I'm really worried about my borther at the moment - he acting strangely like he did last year before he ended up going into hospital. My worry is he's staying with me at the moment and as our parents are overseas and I don't know if I should be contacting a doctor - I don;t have any details of the person he is meant to be seeing and he wont tell me anything about what's going on. Help!

Beyond Blue are awesome, yes. Though a little impersonal. I quite like the SANE Helpline. And SANE's Factsheets go far beyond what I've managed to find anywhere else.
Apart from all that ... how's about you ask your brother to take responsibility for himself? If we stay worried andn don't put in boundaries around people they will never learn to take responsibility for their own lives. So I think BB and SANE aren't needed here.
Just some common sense, "pull yourself together and don't be a wuss just bc mum's away". I mean he could pay to have his meals cooked for him ... why is he staying with you. You are enabling his weakness.
